We are using an adapted version of HTMLArea as our forum editor. With it, you can write your posts like you are used to do it with your text processing software. All formating, links and graphics are displayed in the editor like they will be displayed in your post. You can copy & paste content of web pages into the forum editor without loosing all the formating and tables. Dialog boxes make it easy to insert links and images.

This editor works with MS Internet Explorer and Mozilla browsers like Netscape and Firebird. Other browsers get a standard textarea.
