Recently I was just at phpbb and I noticed thta they have a brand new(well 4 months old) upgrade from the current phpbb board ytou guys offer. Is there anyways we can get this upgrade to our site? Also I noticed a bunch of Modification tools thta you can download. I downloaded everything they have to offer that is new, but when we tried to install them it asked us for a sql access, I'm assuming thta is only for you guys. There are so many cool features now available that woudl make these boards kick ass. Also the newer verion of phpbb blows this one away. Is there anything you can do to help me out, they have 40 somthing new templates to use and I wnted to change it to one of them. How can I do this? lol, sry for the long post, I'm just got so exctied when I saw all this. Thanks

Hi!

Well, this is no real phpBB-Board, it just uses the phpBB layout. Therefore we do not have all the phpBB-features and we have some features that phpBB does not have (like this editor).

We will add some of the available phpBB layout mods as soon as we find the time. As you can change the layout of the board on your own (if you know some HTML), you are able to add a layout mod on your own using administration/templates. There should not be much more to do then replace the CSS and upload the images of the mod. Of course you can not add missing features

Cool, so we can add any of their templates ourselves thta they have available? I have some guys thta know html that are helping me out, but what do I tell them to do, I don't see an ADD TEMPLATE thing anywhere, lol.
Yea the features that My members are wanting the most that the phpbb guys have is 
1) Search button
2) Different colored names on teh whos online box for mods and admins
3) Also in that box a thing to show members b-days,
4) A way to get the signatures at the bottom of the post(many of them are annoyed by the varing look of the sigs)
5) Gender in under names in  posts.
6) Admins want a way to e-mail everyone all at once so they can send out site updates and get peopel who have not come back to come check it out.
7) Global announcment in every forum
A date and time at the top of the board

I am willing to pay money for you guys if you could get these Mods put into my site. Can we work out a deal so that these coudl be added? Please!!!

The points you mentioned are all new features that we would have to add to the board scripts. We are constantly adding new features to the board but I can not give you a date when a specific feature will be added. Stick to our news forum for announcements.

We will add some of the available phpBB layouts soon as already announced.

If you feel that this service is worth more than what you payed you are very welcome to donate money usind the PayPal-Link on our main page. This would definetly help boost development.

We just started working on the subBlack3D-skin.

Usually it does not make sense (for you ) to pay us for development. A developer takes about 100 USD per hour and if you look at how long it took us to apply the phpBB skin you might get an idea about the costs......

For this money you could easily get your own server and host a phpBB on your own (for years).
